Creation App Mini-Lesson

 CLASS DOJO

    Integrating educational apps in classroom is a great way to enhance student engagement, provide interactive learning experiences and offer personalized feedback. Class Dojo is a great tool for promoting positive behaviour and building a positive classroom culture. It allows teachers to track and reward students behaviour and achievements while also providing a platform for communication with parents which fosters a sense of community. Teachers are able to customize the platform specifically the "point system" depending on their class needs to align with the classroom management strategies. 

In terms of facilitating the mini lesson, it was interesting to see how actively engaged my peers were. By clearly stating the learning objectives and the learning tasks for the mini lesson, expectations on what to anticipate from the lesson was stationed. Informing my peers about the educational benefits of integrating technology and apps in lessons was prioritized then the app class dojo was fully examined to share information on how it may align with different subject areas and idolizes classroom management strategies. Differentiation and assessment on the lesson was also debriefed where integration of the app was specified. By sharing successful stories and providing training opportunities future teachers will be able to embrace these tools and maximize their impact in the classroom.

    Cool! I like how you talked about the importance of classroom culture. I also like how you talked about how engaged our peers were. I surprised to see that none of them had heard of it before. End Of Semester!

  " Last Day of Classes "  My viewpoint on using technology into K–6 education has changed significantly over this semester.
